    My friend that came over for some dead ready to burn oak sent some pictures of the owl he is doing for Jane as a thank you for the firewood.

    That's awesome! I imagine you'd want to seal that up with some waterproof sealant?

    He stains them then seals them when finished. This owl is still in the rough stage.

    Yes and his prices are very fair. We have lots of big pines that have been topped Along our driveway this year with the wind storms we have had. He asked if he could do some carvings like a bear, totem, along the drive.

    He is in the Plymouth area if you are interested.
