When I tell my wife this, she almost always says "I would love for you to have that...I wish we could afford it"

Maybe 18+ north and west of Boston where we are. I'm the lucky plow guy for work early am when it ramps up. Two guys are on back up if it gets real bad. All gear and food is ready to go.

We just got this rig delivered for sidewalks at work. Cuts 36" deep and 60" wide. All hydraulic, articulated steering, heated cab, led lights. Dang sweet machine. Maybe I'll get a turn on it late morning. There are 36 different attachments available. Be safe everyone.

Guy across the street was looking at those. The problem he had with them was the cost of the unit, then cost of all of the attachments. Big dollars, but we both agreed that it was by far the best solution on the market for variety of jobs. Reminds me of the Gravely's, but a full tractor unit.

I'd have to look at new cost, but the ventrac looks to be less a of a machine that the bobcat toolcat. The toolcat uses standard, non specialized attachments, and has an enclosed cab with heat + ac, and a dump bed option. I think the toolcat is more $ but when you get to that point.... What's a few grand more for more capability and creature comforts, plus the standard implements?

Looks like a lot bigger machine...guess that could be good or bad depending on what you want to do, or where you want to do it may be a better way of putting it.
FYI, for anyone looking at (or owning) these machines, if you come across a good deal on a "Steiner" brand (all red) attachment/accessory/tool, those were made by the same people and will fit directly on (or can be easily adapted to) the Ventracs
