    Ash is my best. Oak burns too cleanly and doesn't leave many coals.

    Elm for me. Looks like a well fired coal burner in the AM. I have to burn them down on purpose almost daily to make room for a fresh load. Crazy stuff this year. Believe it's 4 years CSS. I actually really miss burning more Pine for less coaling this year!
