    Hey everyone

I have only been burning wood for 5 years and my estimation skills are still not that good. I know this is not a good way to tell but just a ballpark figure how much wood do think I would get out of this pile after it was split and stacked.

Thanks in advance Pile 1.jpg Pile 2.jpg Pile 1.jpg Pile 2.jpg

Are the pics the same pile?
First pic id say about a face cord (1/3 of a cord)
    Second pic 3/4 cord.
Stack it up when split and every 4'x8' pile (single row) is a face cord (this is for 16" long splits) More for longer splits, less for shorter.

I'd guess between 1/3 & 1/2 cord. Looks like good stuff.

No matter how much is there. It will not be ready to burn for a long time.

I’d guess between half a cord (64 cubic feet) and 5/8 cord (80 cubic feet)

I agree fellas. I count over 40 rounds! Splitting them into avg. (5”) splits I’d say he’s got about 600 splits. That’s about 3/4 cord. Maybe a touch more
