From last September. Took a break from loading my truck, grabbed a bottled water and looked back. 30 feet away and did not seem the least bit concerned about me.

Better than being watched by a cop...which i know from experience when scrounging roadside.

Quite a few years ago, when I was behind my house in the woods splitting rounds, the little kids next door used to "spy" on me. They really thought they were hiding behind the trees and below a rise and thought I didn't see them. Bright pink snow suits with a couple inches of snow on the ground. I ignored them and let them have their fun. They're that age for such a short period of time.

All I ever see except for a very rare occasion is the white tails of the deer disappearing into the woods.
