    Sorry to hear it.

Positive testing rates are rising here as well.

wouldn't trust any vaccine released, this year or next. Takes years supposedly to develop these things,
So now we are supposed to trust something developed in months?
So either they are lying about the length of time, as to keep the health industry pockets padded or they can do it this quick
and they just showed their hand.

Things change fast in technology fields, sometimes shocking even those of us already immersed in a particular field, let alone those not follow the technology advances closely.

It’s a bugger, I feel so sorry for all of the businesses that have had to close again. I’m very lucky to still be in work and can still go in because I work in the construction industry. Counting my blessings everyday.

That's great, but I'll let the others be the guinea pig. Problem is, it might take a generation to find out it causes birth defects.

Sorry to hear about the lockdown in the U.K. I have a feeling it's only a matter of time before we in the U.S. are back in the grip of similar measures. I'm fortunate (for now) that I work for a government contractor and my position is considered "essential" for national security. It's sad for the thousands of others out there that have been barely scraping by all year. I wonder what the long term "plan" is here... It's not like we can all hide in our basements and live off the government indefinitely while they keep racking up debt for future generations. There's something happening on a global level here that seems off. Not to go off the deep end with things, I'm just saying taking the year's events as a whole, it's all too surreal. There's a very slim chance I MAY take a vaccine if it's offered, but the moment it becomes MANDATORY they can go pound sand. I haven't even had a regular flu shot for over 25 years so I don't see much sense in starting now.
