So with Halloween being yesterday I didn’t deliver all day like I usually do this tune of year. Earlier this week we found out our babysitter was exposed to someone with covid - no symptoms though. The babysitter got her results back late yesterday and she’s positive. So with that news, I told my two helpers I had lined up for this morning and they both decided to stay home. I then contacted everyone I had scheduled to deliver to today. 5 decided to cancel which was fine by me since I would be stuck loading by myself. Rain was forecasted to start around 2 but it started shortly after 11 so I ended up cancelling the last two orders of the day. So between all of that, I only got out 14 cords. But the good news is that I may be finished up with all deliveries after next weekend

That sucks. I was going cutting today and rain started earlier than i thought. Did get a deliver out even though had to unload in the rain.

I’ll join the “didn’t do chit” club. Just a chitty weather weekend all around. Between the rain all this past week, then 6-7” of snow Friday, then rain again today I just looked outside and said “Nah”

My test results came back today and I am negative. Still waiting on the results for my wife and 16yo daughter. Our 7 and 9 yo were tested today. Hoping by Tuesday we can get back to normal or whatever that is these days

Glad the tests are negative so far! I hate that getting behind feeling, seems like you can never catch back up.

We had a scare 2 weeks ago with my son getting a bad cold, then a fever. He tested negative. My wife got the same cold, also tested negative, but had to stay off work until ALL her cold symptoms were gone. I had a touch of the cold, but never a fever. The past 2 weekends of mine were spent hoarding on sweet scores. I know I got that old honey do list to work on, but free wood waits for no man.
