Well done there, that is some big old pieces of wood. Would have loved to see a pic of that tree standing.

That’s some mighty fine wood there T.Jeff.
I haven’t burned any oak at home yet but I have a bit in my stack, looking forward to seeing what it is all about.

Great wood score Jeff. These big ole trees offer so much firewood. It has to be nice to get rounds home full size! I don’t have the option. It would be cool to see a weight on one round.

Thats a big one. How long have you been driving by that tree? Love that 461 and im sure you do too! How many tanks do you have through it? Is a 36" bar in your future? Will this be an XS461 at some time?

It sure makes rolling one to the splitter easier.
Maybe I can get the bathroom scales out side... :rofl: :rofl: ...
I know the tractor was really grunting picking up a 36" long log.

Yep, it was grown. While it was standing, quite a few years.
It has only been down a couple weeks, I think the TS Sally took it down. We saw it Wednesday, started on it Thursday.
I think the 32" bar will probably be the biggest bar for it.
I think I ran 2 or 3 tanks thru it on that tree, might have 10 or so total on it now.
Might get huskihl to work his magic on it next year...:saw::saw:
