Thanks for all the tips and especially info about getting on the “three year plan”. I believe next year when all the wood I’ve split in the last 2 weeks or so seasons I’ll be good to go. I’m looking at 15 cords split and another 15 easy left to split.

What size is the trailer? Does the Jeep tow it pretty decent?

Not particularly brother, that’s why I’m very careful and take my time when hauling. Also the front surf rack serves a huge purpose. It helps way the front down so I can steer! . It doesn’t do bad though.

Yeah, I’d say your trailer pic with the White Oak has a good 2/3rds-3/4 of a cord. That’s a good 3000 +lbs plus the weight of the trailer, which is probably around 1000 lbs. 4K is a good amount of weight for a Jeep. My little Nissan Frontier tows my 5x10 stuffed with Oak pretty good. It’s rated to tow 6700-6800 lbs
