    I was filling my nugget bin with BL shorts from yesterdays score and couldnt get over how red the ends of the cherry pieces were. Really stuck out. Two months old. Never seen cherry that red before. IMG_3247.JPG IMG_3248.JPG
     
  2. that is a pretty striking red when your looking at in the pile most of mine kind of got a deep copper color to it

    My brother and I have two fallen cherry trees on the agenda this weekend. I will make a rick of them to see how they change over the weeks.
     
  4. actually now that i think about i think i may actually have about a handful of cherry pieces that look like that i got em at the very end of my stack in my mud room were it juts outside a little

    Some species just pop in color. Cherry, Mulberry, Black Walnut, etc. You should make a Crayola stack

    These pictures are only 10 days apart. The Cherry really got darker. I think part of it is that it has rained quite a bit today.

    I noticed that in your pick yesterday. Was gonna ask if they were locust. What’s the chocolate brown in the lower right corner?

    PS. Save some of those odd colored woods. I have a cordwood floor to build this winter ;)

    Mulberry. Goes from red to red brown to brown. This year first time ive cut any.
