My replacement IsoCore arrived today just in time to work another load Of ash from my tree guy. Couldn’t help to split a couple rounds right when I got home!

I have the x27 and just bought the iso core too. I really like them both, how much of a hassle is it to get a replacement?

When I broke my X27, took a couple pictures, emailed them to Fiskars & a new one showed up a couple weeks later. No complaints about my experience.

Same. Took about 5 minutes to take a pic and send it to Fiskars. No questions asked.

What happened to your last isocor? I've heard good things about them but have not tried one out yet. I need the 8# splitting maul. I've been using the Husky splitting maul from home depot and I go through a couple per season. Head comes loose and eventually flies off every time.

Four years is pretty good, depending on how much you chop. I guess I will have to pick one up and find out.

Good to know they stand behind their products and easy to get a replacement. I have the X7, X25 and the Isocore, it's a beast, I love it.

Get the Isocore...you will love it! Got mine almost a year ago and never touch my log blaster maul anymore. Broke my X27 and was replaced. Heres the link

Didn’t think of duct tape! You think it will work? I’ll have to give it a try. Might need a back up if the new one gets tired!

I don't know how you guys swing an isocore. I feel like it's way too heavy, way too bulky, and I don't like the feel of it compared to the X27. I can really whip the x27.

Fwiw, I'm 6', 285, and I've played tennis and stickball my entire life (and pretty much everything else that involves hitting some kind of ball with some kind of stick) and I can't do the Isocore.

I like the Isocore sledgehammer combined with my old Warren-Teed 5lb wedges....but for me it's X27 all day every day.

Ive been told to work a maul properly just hold it overhaed and let the weight of it do the work...which it does on easy wood. I usually will get POed and my Arnold Schwarzenegger takes over. I do like using the X27 better and 90% of my wood gets split with it. :axe:

I would swing the X27 primarily, but some rounds just won’t budge with it. I probably go about 50/50 between the X27 and IsoCore depending on what I’m splitting. The easy stuff is all X27
