No splitting speed records this weekend in the heat. But I got some work done.

With this cord (maple, tulip poplar, mystery wood, and cherry) 20200823_161527.jpg

And this is about a cord of oak and 1/2 of beech

    Im a little over the 3 year plan (5 cords/ year).

Yeah I know, with the crew on this site, doesn't count until stacked. :D

Definitely counts if split. Nice stacks.

It does. I'll feel better when its all stacked though.

Im already planning where to put the next 10 cords. Goal is to be there by this time next year.

I rather wait too. However my wife is telling me that I have an upcoming bathroom remodel to do .

Counting on part of winter to do that. But Im sure they'll be some :saw:, :axe:, :stacker: going on.

Thanks to FHC educating me about the 3 year plan.

This answer for me too. It's been a miserable hot & humid summer. I've got 10 cord of logs here to get processed yet.

I agree, I much rather cut wood when it's cold. Plus I have so so many other projects I have to do in the warm months, and the list only gets bigger as I go.

I am with above; in this heat and humidity if it’s split it counts!! Fall is coming.

How have you been feeling Dennis. Yes, this heat is getting very old. 100 for the next couple days again.

I still use my fingers buy am cut back to only using one hand for many things. Neck pain has been increasing but I think it is just the muscle on the sides of the neck due to not being used. I pray only 2 more weeks before this brace gets trashed... Thanks for asking.

Fear not my friend, there'll likely be logs here far into the future.
