    ....cutting some dead ash on the neighbors farm the other evening in that wicked heat! We need this 1957 classic "Davy Crockett", because it was king of the wild frontier in its day!

    First time the old girl has been fired up since around 1.5yrs ago or better!

    After 20 pulls she started, and pulled like a locomotive through the wood!

    It's old and slow......just like it's owner....

    But it keeps plugging away and gets the job done.....just like it's owner......lol

    Nice to see that old iron still running.
    Looks like it weighs about as much as locomotive too.
    Looks can be deceiving though.

    How is the weight?

    It's heavy....probably around 30-35lbs with that 36" bar

    Just try to imagine working at cutting trees with that saw for 10 hours per day now!!!! Not me!

    Good reminder to get Pap's ol' Pioneer 610 out and run it some. This was a task I'd do every year at Chris' gtg. :(
