What's the number one rule about firewood?

    Ahem....I think the number one rule is.........YOU CAN NEVER HAVE ENOUGH FIREWOOD!

    I agree, that's probably the number 1 rule. The MC of the wood can wait if it needs to, after you get it.:yes:

    That is some neat looking wood stacks but the number 1 rule is making sure your wood is dry before burning.

    That's rule #2. If you run out of wood, how are you going to test its moisture content? :eek:

    Ok you can burn your wet wood. I will stay with my dry wood being number 1 rule. I guess everyone has their own set of rules.

    I don't burn wet wood. If I don't have dry wood, I don't burn. And if you don't have foresight and plan ahead, then you'll run out of wood......and then you definitely won't burn.
