    J. Dirt - instead of steel wheels, I’d think you might fair well with some oak or hickory cookies.... :picard:

I had dry rotted and leaking tires on my old mtd lawn tractor. I slimed them, and they never required me to air them up or rotate them more than when I would normally run the tractor for mowing season. I slimed then and forgot about them.

I'll be sliming two tires on my gorilla cart. They are all tubed tires, and 2 of the 4 are leaking.

I have one wheelbarrow with a solid tire, and I really don't like it. The other one, with a fat pneumatic tire, is a dream to push, in comparison. Totally willing to spend 5 minutes blowing it up when it gets low. The tire is at least 30 years old and it holds air, except for long periods of not being used.

The new tires and tubes are so much lower quality than the old stuff. I don't know if they are adding less sulphur during the vulcanizing process, or what, but every new wheel I buy fails in just a year or two, compared to ones that are decades old and are still holding air. I'm going to go the tubes with slime route, per suggestions here.

Sometimes it feels like we are just spinning our wheels with all the imports (sorry)!
