Same, here am not much into racing but appreciate it. But we tuned in as Daytona's the big one. My 6yr old son never saw a race on TV like that, he absolutely loved it! He was mesmerized by the sound they made flying by, pretty cool stuff! Lots of crashes and that was a horrible wreck Newman was involved in. I recall seeing a ton of fluid pouring out and seeing the fire and yelling for someone to get there.
I watched the race until cancelation. Tried finding it the next day with no luck. Just glad everybody walked away.
