    Probably asking alot here, i see a little red invthe flakes, kinda yellowish wood. Poplar??? Rounds are solid but light 1E596E55-A72B-407C-BE16-16F9509F887A.jpeg

    sycamore. it can be tough to split by hand. good shoulder season wood :thumbs:

    Oh ya it split real easy. Iv never seen sycamore in the middle of the woods around here

    Does it have any bark on it? Can you get a pic of a split round?

    Is all the wood in that pic from the same tree? Im guessing not due to the variation in color of the different pieces. The wood under the saw is mighty red...never seen poplar that color...

    I thought the bark was on the wood. :picard:since it splits easy now I'm thinking poplar. the red stuff in the back could be red oak.
