I fired up the Princess last night about ths time, this morning I just opened up the sir amulet it burn down the coals. Just now 24 hours lateri stirred around the ashes and there is a nice big coal bed there for a restart tonight. Threw a few small pieces of kindling on it and away it goes. I think the super cedars I bought last year will last me a lifetime now.

You out to add the stove to your sig Sean ! ;)

That's exactly how I feel. Load it in the morning and come home to hot coals so we throw a couple pieces of kindling on the coals and then load it. It takes right off. Nothing better than wood heat and a good stove.

Five or six decent splits have been good for about 24 hours here. Seems easiest to try for 24 in the shoulders, and 12 in cold weather.

You're gonna love how predictable the stove is. What to load, when to load, and how much to load becomes easy to figure out, and gives the same results every time. No surprises.

Right where I want to be.
I keep thinking I'll just get the NC30.....then someone comes along and puts up a post like this (the BKPU was on my list).
Now, I'm thinking I'd rather just wait and get the BKS.
Perfect stove for me, I think.
swags, how much wood did you put in the stove last night?

I only get decent coal beds for extended periods with a decent amount of ash. I want to see a Blaze King in person sometime.

Well, I have to disagree with that last statement above. I'm certain many will agree with me and it isn't even a 4 letter word but it can't be beat!

It's like Harley's, there's about 4 different formal names for the same damm bike, and then there's the nicknames and the acronyms.

The Sirocco is nice! It has the same firebox as the Ashford. Ohh, the Princess is sweet to!
