Beautiful place. And the munchkin as you call it will inherently learn to care for their body in a positive way. The heating and cooling don't create rust issues with your equipment?
It is nice to be able to work out at home, and when your wife enjoys it too. But most of the time when i try to workout at the same time as my wife out in the garage, i get in trouble...
Thanks friend! I look at it the same way. I hope to teach my son half as well as my dad taught me. The heating and cooling doesn’t create any issues at all. I’ve had this same setup for 5 years. No rust yet. I think it helps that there is almost zero humidity in Colorado.
Without totally incriminating myself, i will say that whoever created spandex/yoga pants...it was done as a trap! Especially when combined with squats, lunges and other such exercises...
My wife usually hides when she does her exercises. She doesn't want me around for some odd reason. It certainly is not because I ignore her...
No scoffing going on here. Just everyone laughing at themselves for not having the discipline needed to have their own workout place/routine.
Cash Larue , that’s an impressive home gym! I bet you can work up a pretty good sweat on the treadmill right by the stove. I also work out regularly since my early teens. Sure makes CSS easier on the body as I get older! Where’s the squat rack!
I agree buddy. Working out keeps me in shape for firewood processing and for my job. Keeps me feeling young. Here’s the squat rack. It has a standard squat cage and bar - as well as a Smith machine and pulley system.
Nice! That’s one of the best multi systems that I’ve ever seen. I’ve never taken to the home gym. I like the idea of convince, time saving, no excuses etc! I just seem to do better when I’m at the gym with a purpose. And I workout at the High school that I coach at so it’s free and about 5 minutes from home and I get to see the players working out. stay young!
Thanks, buddy. It was really pricey. It’s a commercial home gym setup. If I had the same situation as you, I’d do the same thing as you. That sounds like a perfect gig! But there is only one tiny gym near my town. It’s really expensive and REALLY packed all the time. I do fine working out on my own. I write up a game plan before I go workout. It keeps me on track, so I definitely work up a sweat. If you’re ever in the mountains in CO, come on by - we can lift some heavy metal thunder!
