Again, why I don't play that game. This is why the FHC is the only social media site I'm on. Because here, I have true brothers and sisters that I have met, and love and respect. NHMM out.
A few years ago I was on a welding website and a guy was asking about an owners manual for his welder, the picture he posted was of my welder. I asked where he got the pic and he fessed up that it wasn't his. I did give him a website with the manual which was from the U.S. Army and told him to pay attention to section 6 I think it was. That section detailed how to destroy the welder if you were under enemy attack, we all got a chuckle.
We posted pictures of our boat for sale on Kijji and Craig's list and it sold. Several years later, the new owner put it up for sale and he used my pictures from our sale post in his sale post. I thought it was kind of odd especially as I had deleted our sale post after we sold the boat. The way he acted while trying to buy our boat, I wouldn't have thought the pictures were good enough.
Good call and absolutely! This site, this is where it’s at for me anyways. I actually talk more on here to you great folks than to others and that’s just besides work or my daughter and sweetie. And then the topics around here are just limitless. On this last note regarding this, Facebook just has a marketplace as its classified section and I put out a free wood search that comes up with other wood posts. These aren’t professional sellers or the like but I’ve seen some ads that direct you to buy wood online and it’s bundles of kiln dried firewood or that artisan wood as if Starbucks or some over glorified coffee place that would sell it for 5 times over in the store doorway. No thank you! Again I found it amusing and interesting that my photo was used for another person’s monetary gain, their call not mine. I left it at that.
