Answered a FB ad for tree removal of fallen tree that damaged a chain link fence in yard and dogs able to get out. Man, what a day to forget the sledge and wedge at home. Pinched the bar over and over. Managed to get about 3/4 of a truckload. There was wood there that I left behind that was going to take some doing to remove and definitely a trip back. The lady who owned the property already had a second person lined up to take the wood who showed up as I was leaving.
I wanted to thank buzzsaw brad for telling me about FB marketplace and for giving some nice homemade felling wedges but, on this day, they weren’t much help in my garage back home.

Those were door stops Steve!
In a pinch to prevent a pinch ive wedged a twig, sliver of wood or whatever was handy in the kerf to stop a bind up/pinched bar.
I hate those days when i forget something. Worse than that is when youre leaving and say, "i think im forgetting something"
Hopefully you got the primo, easy stuff and left the rest for the other guy.
    Any pics?
Thanks for reminding me. I broke my last wedge a week ago and need to cut a bunch with the circular saw.

Was actually in Waterford, which was great. Didn’t have the time to go back to get the forgotten tools though.
