We've had snow on the ground since the start of December, never lost it. It's snowing now, just changed back from sleet.

Our old trees have always been put out for the animals; mainly the birds. They work good around bird feeders as they give the birds a quick hideout from hawks.

Tried out my new Christmas gifts. Secret Santa -- accu-stick worked well, didn't seem to get in the way of working. Easy on and off. Light weight. SS was from Alaska, I think it was Rope?
Wife-- Mingo Marker - worked well, marked cuts at 16" on center, orange dots were easy to see. Thanks to both of you for the great gifts.

    Right?!
Our tree went in the basement this year, where the stove and mancave is- hasn’t lost even a handful of needles in almost a month- even with Harvey the avatar dog stealing some sips out of the reservoir.

I haven't made a guess yet. I think I only have two possibilities so there is a 50% chance that I will guess correctly; or a 50% chance of guessing wrong.

I was waiting to see if there would be an elimination but that didn't happen.

Cut some wood today. Used my new Peavy to roll this big log to finish the cut on the bottom side. Log was around 30"dbh

A final thank you to my secret Santa for the starters and tees. Might have to buy the "rock on" tee myself. Local contest to decorate light posts.... 20200110_202213.jpg

There are only two choices so I suppose I can guess one and if they say no, then it is the other one. Not much of a game there is it? I have no clues and yes, I have looked back through both forums; they are both from the same region so no clue there.
