    ironically they cut a ton of ash down up and down our road due to the eab problem but left this tree because it was I the other side of my neighbors fence, I asked them why they didn’t take it down and said they didn’t want the liability of the fence

    rural electric had an aggressive proactive program to take down trees. They needed to drop two maples along my road frontage. I appreciated being outage free the previous winters, so I didn’t debate it. They even dropped an old maple in the front yard as a courtesy.
