That said yooperdave we always do it up gooders here at my house. We had old fashioneds while cooking/prepping dinner, and a nice pinot noir with dinner, now we're into our traditional mixed drink for me and Chardonnay for her. We'll open a bottle of bubbly and toast at midnight, as we always do. We like watching the NYE celebrations with the musical guests.

My crek runs to a big crek, a yuge crek !! Clear crek !! it's awesome, such a yuge crek. Hmm, I mean Creek. (moment of clarity)...
But it runs down to Coors, they chanel #5 the water for beers. I drink the beers, I pee in the creek, it gets filtered but comes back, I drink the beers.
It's a viscous cycle. But you are what you eat, so there's that.

Beers and whisky....Dithmarscher Urtyp and Johnny Walker Green Label. Started late this year as i was working on the farm and did some wood splitting.
I reckon some days a year its fine to start as early as you wish.

What a pile of intentions not used up!

I mean, I really did plan on having something (drink) once I posted this thread.

Turns out, 99 lbs did need "just one more thing at the store"..... So there was that trip. And the next thing you know, a couple of decent shows came on the regular TV (not Netflix).

Had two kinds of pizza. One was a vegetable pizza with a cream cheese "sauce" served cool (from fridge) of course-very good. The other was a traditional pizza but home made. Very good.

Then, the comment made was something like "You're not going on the computer are you?"

Had a nice evening with not a single drink here for either of us.

Missed out on a good time on this thread, though.
