    And not Cherry

    Can’t get leaves. Don’t want to bother the guy. All he knows is it’s “hardwood”. I love when people are no help whatsoever. I’m taking my saw, cutting up and hauling his tree. I think he gets a pretty good deal. Whoooooood!

    Cherry has scaly bark, definitely not cherry. Best I can tell it’s Red Oak

    I agree likely not Cherry. I would guess some sort of oak. Looks like a nice drive up score.

    Not cherry, looks like red oak to me as well. Oak one of the last to drop its leaves. Either way fresh cut green and clean. GREAT score and you can cut to your specs.
    Go get that WHHHOOOOOOOOD!

    Lol, ok, so it was NOT cherry. It was all oak. I showed up and the guy tells me he has 5 oaks and a hickory to fell. I yelled “whoooooooooood”...did u hear me? Here’s the wood from my 2 trips.
