I didn't take pictures of it finished yet. Those trees are all wrapped, split drainage pipe around the base about 12" high to stop rabbits from tearing it up. This is not my first rodeo! I'm just worried I didn't have time to stake them and there's going to be some storms through the next couple days. I'm working down state again adding supers to the hives out in the blueberry fields.

Since I'm here though, I'm going to see about another 6 blueberry bushes to take back home... LOL

You've done a great job Joe. Your post had me remembering an old 1890 diary we found, my great grandfather wrote, about planting apple trees at the old farm. Those trees are all gone now.

    "Hey Joe,
    Where ya' going',
with those trees in your hand?
I'm going to plant these trees,
    and live off the land"
My humble apologies to Jimmy, but the song just popped into my head.
    Yep, that's a lotta' trees.

Years. There is a lot of pruning and trimming to stop fruiting and to encourage a strong root ball. Also to strengthen the grafts by letting the trunk grow before it ever becomes weight bearing.

Stinny plant some apple trees of your own! They are fairly easy compare to other more involved fruit trees.
