Went outside earlier with the dogs

Thinking I might then get back in the woods to cut into a Red Maple I found broken a few days ago.
Snow was coming down a bit more than what it looked like from INSIDE the house, so I decided to change course (just for the record, this happens a lot....sometimes on purpose).
This is what happened instead............
We went to an orchard over a week ago and got a couple pecks of apples. I made some pie filling a few days ago fully intending to freeze it for future pies, but we've been putting it on French toast instead. That batch is almost gone so now we have pie.
I'll suffer through. Now.....where's my coffee mug?

 

Good looking pie! I know it's a tough job but somebody's got to eat it!

 

I'm taking the responsibility quite seriously. Coffee and pie goin' down the gullet as we type.

 

Snow and cold or coffee and apple pie? Good choice papadave .

 

Love almost all kinds of pies! My girlfriends oven is broken which is my good fortune, now she bakes her and it is yummy!
