    Burning some poplar this morning. Loaded up a good sized round right in the middle of my NC-30 in front of the dog house. The air from the dog house has made about a 3" diameter hole about 2" deep into the round. Pretty cool looking burn.

    Nice!

    My stove has four inlets for combustion air and will sometimes make four distinct divots in a poplar split. Never gotten a big, round, bore like that though.

    I notice that on my nc30 as well. That inlet is like a blast furnace!
