Full bin before the rain...

I usually only let it go down to half full before I load up again. This time I almost emptied out all my shoulder season stock. It holds almost 3/4 cord. This load was a mix of maple, red oak and Ash. Hopefully it will last until after Thanksgiving. Top picture shows the old coal chute hatch in the upper right. That's how I load in from outside.

    Nice. I also will be filling up the rack on the deck today, ahead of rain and dropping temps.

    Great storage place! I’ve always viewed cellars as those great places for food stores too!

    Very nice... I have an indoor storage area also, that's where I pull from to load the stove.

    Looks like firewood isn't the only hoarding your doing down there.... :whistle: :beerbbq:

    Lol...the seat is actually a step ladder so I can reach into the bin....I am also a booze hoarder. Will make good currency for bartering when SHTF.
