    Good morning everyone! I got some more oak moved yesterday, but was busy with other stuff too, getting ready for the rain. IMG_20191027_52257.jpg IMG_20191027_40405.jpg All tarped up now, so it doesn't get wet again. This is turning out to take way longer than I expected!
    Today, the rain has already started, and I'll have my grandson for the day. So, a (kind of) relaxing day.

    No climbing for this guy... The only way I do it is renting one of those lifts... He got me a 45 foot lift to do the damage... still a lot of planning goes into each cut...

    I hear ya. No climbing for me either. I've worked out of a boom truck a couple times. Looks like I may need to again, if I can't get electric company to cut this dead pine.

    Good afternoon all. Still getting a little rain. Yesterday my SIL and niece stopped in for a visit. My niece is a 2nd grade teacher. I call her my breath of fresh air. She is all that and more. She was telling us stories of her kids and she had us laughing so hard that tears were rolling. Visit was way to short.

    This is Mr Wade Peebles. He is the guy that started the Georgia Folk and Farm Life group page on FB. It has 33K members now. I met him when he was about 19, just starting out driving a log/stump truck for his dad's company. He is still hauling those nice slash/longleaf pine logs to the mill.
