After an uncomplicated but exhausting pregnancy, Mrs Papi delivered the newest addition to our family last Friday 10/11. This third and final installment is our first boy, and though he had a rough start with excess fluid in the lungs, he is out of the woods and bearing up quite nicely. Mom is nearly back to her old self, and the young man is almost ready to strap on the chaps and get after it. We are blessed and eternally grateful to the amazing hospital staff who helped us through the first few rough days. The little fella was born 9lbs 4oz, 21.5" and ten days on mama's milk has got him nearly back up to birth weight! He has quite an appetite. He peeked his head up to say hi the other night during "tummy time" so I wanted to share the picture of our newest FHC member. Here is Brooks.
Congratulations BigPapi ans Mrs BigPapi. Glad to hear Brooks is doing well. 9 months on the Inside I bet he's ready to hit the woods.
No doubt! We bundled him up and took a walk around the yard today in the sun - I'd swear he was making googly eyes when we went past the pile of freshly cut red oak.
Congrats BigPapi and Mrs. BigPapi! I'm glad to hear hes doing well. Wont be long before hes stacking for you.
Ah the young one has been taught well already BigPapi!!! Good for you and hope Mama and Wee Papi are doing good! Congrats to you and your home and keeping it warm!
