But Pete also knows of someone who has a nice little red tractor to move those crates if he needs it!
The saga continues. I went to a local farm store and found VERY OLD fencing on clearance they had it setting there for over 4 years so I picked it up at what I think is a good price. 4’ * 50’ of wind row cedar fencing. It works perfect for what we need and is very easy to remove later if need be. It will keep the dogs in and the animals out. As well as the stray dogs we get from time to time out. There are two of them that are mean and I haven’t been able to catch... This helps keep them out... The gate got modified with a panel I’ve had laying around for close to 7 years and haven’t figured out what to do with it till now. It works good for what we need. Nothing fancy just functional.
In the process I came up with a decent latch to keep the dogs from jumping on it and knocking it open to easily. It appears to work very well. The downside is I locked myself out and it was a pain to open again
Wow, that’s a lot of liquid holders! Nice work bro!! I know where ya got the idea from! . How much are ya paying for them, or are you getting them free? I only use it for chunks...
I got the first 6 free from my old employer a few years ago and then they sat till last year then I picked up another load free from them a few months ago. There’s six more to go! It’s a little bit of a time killer so they have to wait till next year now. It’s time to clean the garage and get the cars back in before winter. Hopefully we will have around 16 unless we can figure out enough space for two more and get to 18 total.
Great score! I love clearance and discontinued stuff...but the question is...will it keep the wood hoarders at bay?
O I doubt it will stop anybody who wants in honestly but it does add some privacy and with some more modifications I have in mind it will be a real pain to open the gate from outside. So I mild deterent yes. The real effect is security. We get stray dogs from time to time some of which are mean or ferrul and I worry about my wife and others so now they will stay out but I can still easily remove it to get to the bins when they get filled. It also acts like a barrier to keep our neighbors dogs in they are great dogs but get out from time to time through the stacks they won’t be able to now.
Not bad... so, I've been thinking about trans-aging... ya know... identify as a 40 yr old... ... maybe that'll make gravity let up a bit? Seems gravity juz keeps getting stronger every day. I'm sure it doesn't have anything to do with my fat gut... ... nope... it's gravity. My story. Stickin to it. Nice to have it cold nuff round here now, for a fire in the cave. Time to start catching up on FHC stories.
Just a heads-up................I'm gonna appropriate this. Although, as we both well know, you can't REALLY be something you aren't.
