    With no disrespect intended, up here in Maine, NH, and Vermont, wood is very common for heat. I'd say close to 40% of the homes on my road use it for all or some of the heat. A lot of folks use pellets now also. We're just a little bit more old school in the great north woods. You should see how fast tree trimmer wood disappears on the sides of the road here.

    Everyone around here knows that I am the wood crazy guy with 4 years worth of wood stacked and drying. They will ask why so much wood. That is a open door for me. Some listen but most do not.

    These days I just agree with those who say that to me. I say, "Yeah only idiots burn pine". Generally it's right after I get an easy load of pine.:whistle:
