    Hello
I have seen this many times.
Very common in Travis and Whitfields, Breckwells and others.
The screws holding the flange on to the housing are too small and there is not enough silicone. Therefore after the vibration and heat from the exhaust blower it breaks loose so it can easily be wiggles back and forth!
Has anyone else come across this condition?

Pic 1 - flange is easily removed and no silicone on the inside.
Pic 2,3,4 - a little wire wheeling and abraision blasting to clean it.
Pic 5 - some very high temp header paint
Pic 6 - high temp clear silicone
Pic 7 - large stainless steel self tappers
Pic 8 - add silicone on the outside all around
Pic 9 - install the self tappers
    Pic 10,11 - all done!

I have seen these loose before.

Clean good and wipe the mating surfaces clean with alcohol to remove any grease/oily residue.
High temp silicone and reattach with either new screws or pop rivets.

I do not have a blast cabinet.
Would be nice, but takes up a lot of room and I rarely need one.

I have a portable sand blaster and use it outside and allow the sand to blow into the yard.

Not as handy as a cabinet though
