Ok so my mom has been asking about having a firewood cutting day again this year to help out my pap and her. Some guys have been asking about doing it again too, so how does the first or second weekend in November sound? We won't be able to do chicken dinners like last year unless we do them ourselves. I am open to ideas for food and dates. It will be at my farm same as the gtgs.
I would sure like to be there depending in my work schedule. Once the date is set, I'll try to make it happen. The Wood Wolverine
This is a very informal thing. This post is to just get an idea of interest. We totally understand if you show up unannounced or cancel last minute. Most important thing is to enjoy ourselves and cut some wood. Friends and family are welcome too.
Try to make it one of the weekends that deer season is closed and/or make it a Sunday. I'd love to swing by for a good cause, especially since I've had to miss the formal GTG's this year.
We were thinking about the first or second weekend in November sorry I'm not familiar with deer season dates. Sunday could be a possibility. Give suggestions guys.
It's been awhile since I posted here so I'm just going to stick with Sunday November 5th. We just want folks to come have some fun and maybe cut some wood. We can get an idea for food as the time gets closer. All ideas and suggestions are welcome.
The weather is to be warm on Sunday with the possibility of rain. I am still planning on cutting if we get rained out then I guess we'll shoot the breeze. Meatball sandwiches, Mac and cheese plus dessert is planned. I also can make some breakfast items if anyone is interested.
Yep probably won't be much splitting but I'll have mine there. I'm just hoping for some good times more than anything.
I don't see any reason at the moment that I can't be there. Not sure if the boy is coming yet, he's supposed to be helping my dad with some stuff.
Hey Leadfarmer maybe you can bring that 041 that you won this summer and run it a little bit! Or is it a shelf queen?
