I'm not an insomniac, but I just can't get back to sleep. I woke up at 2am, after falling asleep around 9pm last night. I've been up since. Hopefully I can get a nap in this afternoon, or maybe just an early bedtime? All I know is that I can't be groggy at work.

What an amazing day yesterday. We had the lake to ourselves, just me and my wife, our 2 Labradors, and our friends with their lab . So 2 boats had the entire lake to ourselves. What a georgeous ftall day out.

Today, I'll clean up and get my bike 100% ready for some commuting.

Ugh. Be careful driving anywhere, don't want to nod off. I hope you don't have to tow any cars today.

I get a visit from the grandson today, oh boy! He likes to watch the chainsaw in action when he comes. It takes several adults to manage this safely.

it was beautiful here yesterday as well. Ive been watching all my neighbors pulling their boats out of the water for the past month, even though the weather continues to be beautiful. It sounded like there were only two boats on the pond yesterday too. I dont get it, why not wait and do it when the weather dictates? I can understand the seasonal folks prepping, but a large amount of us in the neighborhood are year round.

Can you take something to help you sleep tonight? Keep looking at the positive side of things man. Your wife, your home, have a job, have food on the table, have a good roof over head, can sit and watch a nice fire! Things will be gooder our friend.

Well, I pulled 6 pink salmon out of the freezer and I am going to can this morning. Day looks like it will be better than the last one. Poured rain and was windy. campinspecter has been curing a new tunnel for the boiler so he has been busy. Hopefully going to get a lot done today. NO baseball to watch.

Redoing one of the interior wall in the garage today. The old wall covering was 4 layers of shingles, paneling, furring strips, and pegboard. Found some suspect framing and terrible wiring under all that. About what i should expect in this house.

Well I got about 2 hours more sleep this am. After talking with my wife, she said I fell asleep way early last night. I got at least 6 hours last night, and another 2 this am. I'm all good.

    Man is it raining today.
