I was thinking the same here 007, we'll need to restock at least a 1/2 ton, if we keep burning at this rate.
Someone played with the beaver dam and lowered the lake by a foot, has been raining almost every day that the lake is back up a foot Still roasting Okies during the night, skipped a couple when it was warm enough which isn't too often Camping out next Thursday so it better warm up soon otherwise I'll be Got about 4-5 bags left to burn before hitting the replenished stockpile
This is nuts, 5/27 and we're still using the little stove to take the chill out of the house in the morning. Based on low-mid 50's and rain forecast on Monday, looks like we'll need to do it again too.
Santa? Well maybe the loaded with fishing gear. Everyone has a memorial day sale going on, So we couldn't resist. Kind a like Santa.
It's June 6th and 45 degrees and the little stove is eating some MWPs. Weatherman is predicting 93 for a high on Monday. Weird.
It certainly is goofy for sure. I'm happy its getting warmer, Just not ready for the shock of 80+ temps. Wish we could gradually sneak up to them. But it is what it is and hopefully the stove can go idle till fall??
Broke my June burn record which is now 6/7. No doubt will be lighting back up the last week in September. Fairly mid winter by my experience and burned 140 bags of Sets in the house and 25 bags of Blazers in the loft. Have about 1.5 tons of Sets and 1.5 tons of Blazers. No sooner did I lock the thermostats in the off position did I start thinking of buying 3 tons. After those monsoon spring rains in NE, I will ONLY buy stored pellets.
This was one crazy spring for weather with early April to mid August type weather swings within 2-3 days. A week ago I probably could have fired the beast for a few hours. A day later it was 90 and tropical humidity.
