What does a push action auger motor do besides turn?

    Here are some pics
    The pusher motor is behind the bottom auger that pushes pellets into the burn pot pic 1
    The cutter motor is connected to the rotating discs that only allow a limited amount of pellets to drop into the auger chute pic 2
