I've got an assortment of Stihls on my bench today...... Right this minute I'm fixin to start machine work on these four MS661 jugs. The MS661 and I understand each other pretty well.
Swapped in a better P and C I had laying around, base gasket delete and muffler mod on a Poulan 3400. With all those Stihls on your bench does that mean there is a 372xp headed back my way?
No time to work on things today. But I do have an earthquake and an 011 that need to be sorted out. Both have carb like issues. One day I may get around to them. Its tough with the little one and actually having to cut wood in the free time I do have.
Almost 3 ft of snow on the ground on the North side of the house and over 2 ft of snow on the North side of the roof. South facing roof is clean.
Just got home from work. We had to pig a line down by Marietta before they fill it with nitrogen and check for leaks. It was overtime all day so I didn't mind. Getting ready to go out and work on puttin in a new oil pan gasket on the tractor now. Finally about 40 here so it feels nice to be out and getting stuff done. I have several project to finish up before it gets fishing time.
I had only fed 4 round bales until late January, maybe even into February........since then I've likely fed 12. That ain't much really........I got off easy this year. It's good to see the heifers picking grass on the south facing hillsides today though.
They aren't bred yet.....right now they range from 600 lb - 350lb. Only one is light.......all the others are close. I've got 8 Angus heifers, and 2 bull calves. I'm gonna decide which bull to keep, and band the other one in a month or so.
So muddy here I brought the skidsteer home on Thurs. and left it on the trailer. Then it rained and snowed 6" and it is still on the trailer.
It's really bad at the milkers feeders. The mixer is dragging on the frame. Almost stuck it yesterday had to go to feeding along the fenceline.
I wish I had more land.......I really like messing with cattle. I'll never be able to have more than 20 head without finding a bigger place.
