IMG_20170415_144627952.jpg IMG_20170415_144704589.jpg I went to pick up a saw I purchased and saw these. #1 is supposed to be a salesman sample. #2 is a Buddy tent stove I'm told. Just curious as to what they are worth. Trying to decide if I want them or not.

Years ago I would like to have installed one in my Jeep cj.
I was told that the Buddy is a WW1 military stove. I'm not a stove collector so I dunno much

Pretty cool. Even though #1 is a salesman sample, is it functional?

I'm thinking tent stove too. Any grates in it? Bottom air feed looks like a coal stove A similar model on the net was advertised as that and about 20" tall. Cool no doubt.

Honestly I don't know. I could ask him though. I was asked what I thought they are worth as he is selling them.

Hope you bought these, they look really cool and if anything they'd likely function just like a rocket stove today, small but useful. Like having one of those little square space heaters to dry out a room.

The salesman stove refurbished would be about $75 and the pot bellied stove (a knock off) would be worth $350 at the most. Sadly the heyday of antique stovesof the 1990's is over. Too bad as I love old stoves...
