    I think the funniest thing I noticed were the crickets were starting to make noise during the darkest point.

    It was cloudy here. Even though we were to have 86% eclipse, it simply got dark. It looked like it was going to thunderstorm, but it didn't.

    So, there wasn't anything to see here.

    Just got back, normal is 6-1/2 hrs, this went almost 8. Lots of traffic but not as bad as I expected.
    Took a bunch of pictures, both camera and phone- not a one turned out like I wanted them to. Oh well, I got to stare at it with my naked eyes and it was really spectacular. We were on the road 18 min. after the totality, can't imagine how bad the roads are right now.
