Well, it's done and installed! ... It's time..... Thanks for watching! My @$$ is sore and I'm not 30 any more..., I still "LOVE" doing this stuff . Maybe I'll start a small business doing simple stuff now that I'm retired. Might get me a dollar or two.
Wow Dave that came out great! Do you shape the pipe ends so they meet up properly? Great design and execution!
Great bump Pallet Pete Great build WeldrDave , very nice. I haven't welded 2 pieces of metal together for around 25 years or so. I surely don't have the skill of you and PalletPete.
I bought all that pipe new with the exception of the 3/4" angled side supports. Other than my time I have $300.00 in the rack and it'll never rust and is strong as all he!!. I climbed up there on the top and it never flinched in the middle and thats 250lbs of fat @$$, so if it can hold all my weight in the center spot, my best calculations are I could put 1000lbs up there "Easy"!
Very nice! That rack is awesome Dave I like how you could carry items longer than the trailer bed on top of it too!
16' pipe and lumber is no problem now! I've already put 24 @ 16' pressure treated deck 5/4" up top with no problem at all for my neighbor.
