Thank you for everyone who is offering there thoughts and prayers for the family of my son's best friend!
What a shame...so much in his future on this earth. He's in better hands now, even though the pain here on earth is so ever present with his friends and loved ones.
Glad to hear that TurboDiesel . Sorry I am just now reading about the accident. Iam glad to hear he's doing better. I'll pray for his speedy recovery back to a normal life!
Just talked to Brad yesterday. Doctors say he's recovering faster than they thought possible. I told him that sounds like a miracle to me. They put a vacuum pump in his surgery wound to pull out any drainage to prevent infection. He should get it out this week and possibly go back to work in a couple weeks on light duty. No lifting over twenty pounds. Of course after telling me this, he suggested that the small saw is only a few pounds...i don't think thats what they were talking about... Lets keep praying. For recovery and patients
Fantastic! Those vacuum pumps can be good but can be a problem too. The last time I had one (after hip surgery) the thing broke and there was blood all over. They pulled it out. Dang, that hurt! Then I started having problems in that very spot...
Thanks for the prayers for my friend that had a double lung transplant, she celebrated her 2 year transplant anniversary the other day and is enjoying herself
If you guys could, say a prayer for my cousin Deb. She has been having heart issues for some time. She was at Mayo and came home, only to return by life flight today. She is an extra special lady to me. Tight bond...lots of laughs over the years.
My cousin left the ICU today. Sounds like she will be back later this week. She needs a heart transplant but is not a candidate unless she has a kidney transplant first. She will be coming back with with a defibrillator and an IV pump. They give her weeks to months in this condition. God, please let her feel your loving presence and know she is never alone in her struggles.
