Just a wonderful bike ride this morning. 36miles/2h17m/1770' vertical. Perfect morning. Sunny, breezy, 71F. Bear Ck/C470/Clear Ck loop. I'll see you on the road.
Hmmm, never made it to Bandimere nor Red Rocks in the sunlight (except Easter sunrise Mass). Very nice pictures.
No better attitude adjustment than a bike ride. Nothing better than the first real fall bike ride. Heavy rain last night. Chilly, gray day today. Clouds hanging low. 46F. Clean, crisp air. After the sweltering summer and the last 6 weeks for 85F smoke air, it's like a whole new world. Dug out the cold weather gear. I love cycling. I love the fall. I love cycling in the fall. I love coming home and warming my buns by the fire. I'll see you on the road. Fall is showing along the creek.
Nice. Wood processing is probably the most favorite attitude adjuster here though!! Keep the pics coming as long as you can!
103 mile week. Turned over 2.3K for the year. Rode up Dino Ridge. Have not been up there in awhile. Still can ride up for free.....how'd that happen? Got up to the tracks over look....and it looks like they painted the tracks. Looks really weird. Why can't we just leave stuff alone. I sent an email to the "center" to find out. How strange. Beautiful summer day. I'll see you on the road.
Yeah that looks weird. I've been there, and didn't have any trouble seeing the tracks in their natural state. Now it looks like graffiti. Bad decision.
I actually got a reply from the Dino center. The tracks are sprayed w/water dissolved charcoal. It washes off w/rain and they do it again. As I guessed, they do it so people know what they are looking at. I told them they should do a better job of educating people as to what to look for. I told them it looks like graffiti. I'm sure they will delete that email. Such is life, As a kid, we used to stop there all the time. My dad said, "See the tracks?" I did. Guess these are more difficult times. Such is life.
I have been there looking at those tracks not so many years ago. At that time, there was only the damage left form "people" attempting to chisel out the tracks.
My Thurs ride up Tucker Gulch. 27m/ 1:48/ 1648' vertical. A perfect fall day. 58F. Cold front blowing in. Hoping for rain for the next couple of day.
