How do you utilize your Thanksgiving Leftovers? Anything special? I love turkey sandwiches.... so I added some Turkey to my egg sandwich this morning, with some ghost pepper cheese.... ...
I got a turkey from my buddy that raised about a dozen... organic/free range as it comes. I made turkey soup with the carcass like my grandmother used to make. It is delicious. 22 lb and it was good.
Dave, Very little by my place. Further north they have 8-10 on the ground. Neighbor went up to snowmobile. Looks like something is coming Sunday night.
We had turkey at the in-laws last weekend. I pressure cooked the carcass with vegetables to make stock. The next day I made a pot pie in a cast iron pan. I made a side of stuffing to go with it.
I made some turkey and noodles soup (from homemade noodles that mom gave from a church lady)... that smoky flavor that it gave was pretty good.... plus the first time I've ever made noodles soup...
I made a huge batch of three cheese turkey enchiladas and they were delicous! Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
It wasn't turkey leftovers as we didn't cook a turkey but we bought ground turkey at Costco last week so today I made turkey meatloaf. I think I cooked it too long as it came out a little dry.
Love cranberry sauce. We made 2 bags this year (Thurs. morning), and as of yesterday, it's all gone. Goes very well with turkey.
Who are all these MEN who are cooking? One post referred to "we" but the rest of y'all were still in the kitchen!
My wife did the turkey.....I made the cran. sauce, pies, stuffing, sweet potatoes, and GB casserole. Gkids made the onion casserole.
Stuffed peppers with that meat stuffing someone brings to our house every year. ( bread stuffing rules ). Shredded cheese in the bottom of the pepper, stuffing, rice, tomato sauce, bread crumbs, parmesan cheese on top.
