Did not make it till the end of the month and lit both stoves. A record for me to light on September 2nd. WTF, I am sitting on three tons with three in the wings and I'll be damm if I am cold. Just light the stove and Freak Al Gore.

Just did my test fire. Tsc pellets (Curran's) lit right off and got nice and hot. Stove is filthy though somehow, needs a good cleaning but I'm good to go.

Still haven't turned mine on, but the temps may go down into the low 40s and high 30s so the stove "just might" be running a bit.

I'm a self employed plasterer. Being Irish (born in county cork) I'm not a fan of July and august. Way too hot for me. Plaster also generates heat and humidity as you're working with it. With September being so hot and humid I've been sweating my nuts off for 3 months now. So there will be no fire here for quite a while. 50 out right now. Sitting in the stove room with slider open. I LOVE fall. Btw moved to the US 29 years ago. Married my rock in '93 and became a citizen in '98 and very proud to be an American
