Northeastern St. Lawrence County in northern New York... * Until 830 PM EDT * At 728 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Pyrites to near Degrasse, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Minor hail damage to vehicles is possible. Expect wind damage to trees and powerlines.
These storms are heading N- NE. A pretty significant storm just clipping us now. thewoodlands- glad they put that out. Its been somewhat dry, that could've got bad quick with all the pine. Gasifier - you finish that pasta?
This is heading north, the deep red just missing us. We had some wind and heavy rain with some lightening.
All the stronger storms stayed north or south of us, we did have some winds with lightning and just over three quarters of an inch of rain.
.47" off rain fell here thus far, still drizzling a bit. Didn't see any significant winds, had a few nasty lightening strikes around.
Pretty much a crap day here with rain off and on but did get some wood done as it was pretty cool and windy.

We were hit with some heavy rain for a short period of time, we had over half an inch come quick. It's finally down to a soft rain.
On my way to Massena this afternoon, when I went through Norwood Ny there were plenty o That night we received 0.50 of an inch real quick, we received the other 0.50 overnight, I emptied the rain gauge earlier today. We might have another quick hitting storm coming tonight.

Hoping for good weather Saturday. Daughter #2 getting married, wedding outside on the shore of the Kennebec River is South Gardiner. Looks unstable for now. Reception is inside.
This is her second time around. His and her kids are all grown up and out on their own. Good for her. Not so good for Daughter # 1, her husband departs for deployment to Afghanistan for a year. He leaves 6 AM on the morning of daughter #2's wedding day. Just have to roll with it all. New husband is a nice guy. Has a secure job and is very handy.
