Do a generous muff mod to that 372 and you'll see about a 20% gain!! My 365 was 20% and it's only 65 cc over your 71 cc. Just did another muff mod today and painted all three.
Definitely need to take an hour and go through and service all my saws haven't had time lately so they are all someday it will happen probly going to wait a little but I do think I'm going to get some bigger bucking spikes because I notice the muffler gets against the wood with the ones on it

So I wrote the post about needing bigger dogs, clicked over to eBay and bought that exact set will be here Thursday. Glad to be able to see it on a saw
This saw was bought new by a grandfather I never met (mothers side). It sat unused for over 50 years. My dad gave it to me in '14 and after a carb kit and thorough cleaning plus a new gas bowl gasket, I got her fired up. They sure are pesky to prime correctly. I had quite a few failed attempts. Only ran it a few times since. Neat to have for sure.
Great saw to have with the history in your family! The sentimental value makes it invaluable to you and your son when you pass it on.
Definitely! No resto here... gotta keep all gramps battle scars. My dad used to cut firewood with him way back. Told me it was one of the first chainsaws in our area and they were both ecstatic about how much quicker it was vs. a 2 man crosscut saw!
The saw on the left and right are 365's. The middle is the ported 372. That is why it is bigger. And yes, I love inboard systems. Outboards suck. Hard to change sprockets, chains, etc.. Here is a 365/372 opening stock and ported. It definitely breathes better this way!!!
Eye kant reid. The low tops & oil caps gave it away. Are you going to have EC make one of those Xtra special?
That is my plan For which video? I just sold it to Birdogtgtg. Eric went back through it and found the problem it developed in PA. I needed some cash and it had to go. Wish saws were the last thing I have to sell, but they are the easiest to sell and recover after getting things caught up.
