For all you lads, especially the older ones, who had a special or first vehicle. Here is a web site that will show the original sales brochure for that vehicle. Memory time lads..............

Great blast to the past! I worked night and day in high school to buy this used red 396SS 4 speed for $1200.00. Should have kept it. :( One of a long string of bad decisions over the years!

Probably spent as much time wrenching on it as driving it, but we didn't care. All I could think of was cars and girls at the time. I spend my time now keeping my kids from doing what I use to do. :emb:

All my buddies had sixty something camaros and firebirds, plus rich parents. I needed something that went fast, hauled a boat and got me out to the duck slough. 1975 GMC Heavy Half ton with a 454. Been in storage for over 20 years but I still have it.

'77 Toy FJ-40. Went from stock to sporting a Chevy 388 stroker and all the goodies.
Me and "others" lost their V-card in that thing. ...the stories I could tell.

Beetle-kill, my neighbor just bought a nice red old fj40 from Colorado a couple months ago. 4 cylinder in it though. Well, that's what it sounds like.

Screenshot_2015-03-04-21-51-11.png Saw this one, my dad had a 67 cyclone gt 390 convertible with the 4 speed stick. 9" rear end. Dark blue, with the white rally stripes. Bought it new, and had it until a couple years ago. It only had a little over 50k on it when he sold it. A couple in Seattle I not, it does well in the car shows. Dad used to drag race it. The stick convertibles were rare enough, but his had the 390 in it. Supposedly only a handful were ever made with those options.
