I bought this from an estate, seller stated it was leaking diesel into the oil. Hasn't been started in a year, I turned it over for a second. Removed the fuel tank, radiator and valve cover today very dry inside but I see diesel fuel towards the front on the head. Not sure where to go from here? Shops full.

Those are notorious for shearing the drive key on the injection pump and getting injection timing way off. Will absolutely saturate the valvetrain and exhaust system with raw fuel. Basically injecting fuel on the exhaust stroke and providing no fuel on the compression stroke. Watched my grandfather throw many many wrenches from under the hood of those old Powermasters, I have been inside a few of them.

If I remove the injector pump will I need any new seals on top of the drive key issue possibly?

Dad has the same tractor...and same problem. Had some seal replaced years back...was ok for a while...doesn't get run much these days. Sorry, not much help I know.
I could talk to the guy that worked on it, get a little insight maybe...

I recall having problems finding the seals etc for the pump. You're talking 25 +/- years ago. I'm not sure what all is available anymore, a lot of guys restore those, so I would assume parts are still out there.

You can get most parts at a New Holland dealer. If you want to order online check with Messicks.

It looks like there is a good bit of info out there online about this tractor and this problem...specifically yesterdaystractors.com
Maybe even YouTube vids on doing the pump seal replacement...IDK, I didn't watch it...

No, I meant the car. Maybe a Camaro? Looks to be some sort of muscle car.

I was talking about the car, but taking a closer look, it is probably not correct. the back seat window looks wrong.

Well, this is the "chainsaw and power equipment" forum, so that just depends on what he uses the car for....

I am guessing you were going to restore the car and it became a sitter. I know about sitters, there are a few around here.
